  • Carlos Ferrater receives the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts. The Spanish Cabinet, following a proposal from the Minister for Culture and Sport, José Guirao, has approved the award of the Gold Medals for Merit in Fine Arts for 2019 to 24 personalities from the world of culture. This award is for people and organisations that have stood out in the field of artistic and cultural creativity or who have provided outstanding services to encourage, develop or publicise art and culture or the conservation of artistic heritage.

  • Three works by OAB selected for the 1st Catalan Architecture Fair, Barcelona. Namely, the Hotel Mandarín Oriental in the category of refurbishment works promoted in both the public and private sectors; the Roca Barcelona Gallery in the category of privately promoted non-residential buildings; and the extending of the Barcelona Botanical Garden in the category of interventions in outside spaces.
