Núria Ayala graduated as an architect from the School of Architecture of Barcelona (ETSAB) in 2001.
She joined the Carlos Ferrater studio in 2000.
She is the Projects Director, collaborator and co-author of different works, projects and competitions, including the NGO “Centre Esplai” (hostel, training facilities, offices and fitness center); the Musée des Confluences in Lyon; Casa Nolla; the GISA and FGC institutional Headquarters on Via Augusta in Barcelona; Las Palmas de Gran Canaria Promenade; the hotel in the Almodovar Gate in Cordoba; the Azahar Business Group Headquarters in Castellón; the new City Hall in Palma de Mallorca; the new IMQ Hospital in Bilbao; the development plan for the Garellano area of Bilbao; the La Seda Head Office in Barcelona; the City of Music in Sabadell; the extension to the Barcelona Botanical garden; the project design for Barcelona High Court; the extension to Torreblanca Park, Summer Camp NGO Viladoms, Club House in Bodrum – Turkey and Mixed use Buildings in the Miami Design Disctrict .
Together with Carlos Ferrater she received, on 2010, Ibeoramerican Biennial Architectural Prize, Ecola Prize and Finalist in Valencian Award for Azahar Business Group Headquarters. On 2011, Finalist in the XI Spanish Biennial and Finalist in FAD Prize for Summer Camp NGO Viladoms.
She coordinated and did the graphic design for the “Research Process” in Sincronizar la geometría/Synchronizing Geometry, published by Actar; Editorial MP’s monograph Carlos Ferrater – OAB, the book “Casas y habitants” (Actar) and Actar’s monograph “OAB. Office of Architecture in Barcelona”
Public relations, coordination, and interior design. Cooperates with the studio Ferrater since 1971.
Among its achievements are: the houses in Estartit, Estartit Yacht Club, House Triginer, Co Lawyers Catalunya, Iuris Travel agency, House for a photographer and houses in Llampaies Alcanar, Tryp airport Empordà Hotel & Golf Resort and triplex in Paseo de Gracia.
She joined OAB in November 2008 as a Responsible of Secretary and Administration.
Graduated in Management and Public Administration at the Pompeu Fabra University in 1996, Master Degree of Human Resources in 2008 (Fundemi IQS Ramon Llull University) and graduated in Labour Sciences the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya UOC in 2013.

Performing functions of reception and communication, including the management of the corporate website contents, coordinating the University practice agreements with architecture students and the organisation of the archive and bibliographic collection of the OAB.

Since 1999, he has taught both on the undergraduate and postgraduate degrees of the ETSAB in which he is currently responsible for his qualifying master’s degree in the morning.
He coordinates the UPC AR.I.EN research group and with Carlos Ferrater directs the Cátedra Blanca de Barcelona and the Palimpsesto magazine and editorial, currently indexed among others in Avery. In the editorial, among other things he highlights the publications of various educational projects and the development of the book Words with Architects Towards the reconstruction of the discipline (2015). With extensive activity as a lecturer and guest professor behind him, he has taken part in seminars, workshops and end-of-degree projects in different schools, such as the Cooper Union (NY), Paris, Berlin, Monterrey, Milan, Madrid, Seville, Toledo and Valencia.
His designing activity has been published in leading journals of the field and recognised with numerous awards. His achievements include around fifteen first prizes in contests, and recognitions of his work at the Mies van der Rohe (2018), FAD (2017, 2018 and 2019) and XI BEAU and VIII BIAU Biennial awards and by the School of Architects. His work has been displayed at the Cervantes Institute in New York and at the School of Architects of Valencia. He has several designs and utility models made with the UPC.

Together with Gemma Domingo and Sergio Alonso, in 2013 they found SOG Desig, a firm which sets up in China, Barcelona and Singapore, where they begin to collaborate with different Asian studios in residential, hotel, mixed use and urban planning projects.
In 2001 he is a joint-founder of the multidisciplinary studio Estudio Alteraciones, which develops architecture, graphic design and audio-visuals.
In 2016, he participates with OAB in the “South Sea Pearl Ecological Island” contest, which is when he becomes a collaborator of OAB, participating in numerous tenders and projects in Spain and abroad in China, Egypt, Morocco, Andorra, etc.

In 2013, she opens a professional office (SOG Design) together with Oriol Ribas and Sergio Alonso, a firm which sets up in China, Barcelona and Singapore, where they begin to collaborate with different Asian studios in residential, hotel, mixed use and urban planning projects. At the more local level, as a project manager, she coordinates and carries out rehabilitation projects for residential buildings, historic buildings and public buildings.
Since 2016, she has worked with OAB, participating in numerous international projects, tenders and rehabilitation projects.
Licensed architect, graduated with honours in 2011 from the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC – ETSAB).
Between 2005 and 2009 Ignasi collaborated in the architectural studio Clotet, Paricio i Associats in Barcelona. By the end of 2009 got a scholarship to attend the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT – School of Architecture) as an exchange student and, between 2010 and 2011, worked at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in Chicago (SOM) in diverse mixed-use international projects.
In June 2012 joined Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB), where he developed and lead national and international projects and competitions in places such as Barcelona, Ibiza, Miami, Los Angeles, Turkey, Norway or Germany.
In 2016 pursued a postgraduate in sustainability in the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC – ETSAV) and in 2017 co-founded, together with Berta Romeo and Guillem Villalta, Estudi biga which became an associated architectural studio of OAB.He currently combines the architectural practice with university teaching as an associate professor at the International university of Catalunya (UIC – School of Architecture) and the Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC – ETSAB).

As a student, works in sustainability and development projects in Sub-Saharan Africa and collaborates with professional office CVarq, in the department of architecture, developing, among other projects, the Rio de Janeiro Infant School.

Master in Architecture, Urbanism and Master Planning from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB) in 2016. Graduated first of promotion in Architecture from ETSAB in 2015.
As a student, participated in the architectural studio Jesus Godoy Architects in diverse projects in the Spanish territory during 2012-2013.
Between 2013-2016, collaborated as a Teacher and Research Assistant with Catedra Blanca de Barcelona (CB.B), in the Department of Projects in Architecture from ETSAB in which received the MECD grant for training and investigation.
Participated in several International Workshops with Universities such as Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW in Switzerland, Tsinghua University in China, in LAB.A from RCR Architects and in the Intensive Program EU/EPOS in the period 2014-2015.
In 2015 joined Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) and has work since then on various designs including: an office building in Beirut, the waterfront urbanization in Escala (Girona), the competition for the new Camp Nou, the rehabilitation of the Deutsche Bank tower and two Hotels in the city center of Barcelona.
Graduated as an architect from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Barcelona (ETSAB) in 2015, before gaining her Masters in Architecture degree (MArqEtsaB) from the same school in 2016.
As a student she trained in such architecture studios as Dechini in Lima (Peru), where she collaborated, among other projects, on the design of the British School in Barrios Altos. She also worked with RSP Architects en Singapore, where she was involved in the ESSEC Business School there, and participated on the urban development plan for Xiangyang in China.
In January 2016 she joined Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) as a student, prior to joining the studio as an architect in September of that same year. Since then she has participated on projects like the Museum of Modern Art in Almaty (Kazakhstan), a hotel in Carrer Còrsega (Barcelona) and the major restoration of a building complex in the same city, as well as on international competitions like the Valley of Life in Turkey, the University of Tel Aviv’s Nanotechnology Center, and Ecoisland in China.

Between 2013 and 2014 she assisted as an International Student at the University of Applied Sciences (HFT) in Stuttgart (Germany). There, she worked as a student at the German architecture studio Aldinger Architekten, developing some projects like an Ibis Style Hotel in Tübingen and the Friedrich-List-Schule in Ulm.
In 2015 she collaborated with the architect Julio Redondo in a single-family housing in Gijón.
She joins Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) in October 2016. She currently Works, among others, in two single-family housing in Saudi Arabia and collaborates in a Hotel Project in Ibiza.

Was awarded a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Architectural Science in 2011 and a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in 2013.
In 2013 and 2014 he worked as a student in the OAB studio, with a particular interest in designing single- and multi-family housing.
In October 2014 he joined the Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) studio and has since worked on various designs, including the competition for the new Camp Nou, a residential complex in Bodrum, and different projects and international competitions in Turkey, France, the Czech Republic, Morocco, Israel, and Kazakhstan.

Master specialized in Theory and Project at the same school with Mention in 2020.
As a student, she did internships in several offices such as BAX Studio or Julio Garnica Estudio de Arquitectura and workshops both internationally and nationally, among which the Workshop Henri Quillé organised by the COAIB in Formentera (2019) and the Istanbul Step by Step carried out at BAU Faculty of Architecture and Design in Istanbul (2014). In 2017-2018 she studied at the Sapienza Università di Roma as an exchange student.
On her return to Barcelona, she joined ETSAB Publications as an internee for 2018-19 and 2019-20 and worked on the edition of publications such as “ETSAB Visiting Studio 2014-2019”, “Breves” and “Llegats”, among others. She also worked on the development of the exhibition “Imaginando la Casa Mediterránea” [Imagining the Mediterranean House] at the ICO Museum in Madrid.
At the same time, she did her Final Degree Project “El otro Coderch: Bloc de Pescadors de la Barceloneta 1950-1960”. This research work led her to the proposal and subsequent incorporation of the building of J.A. Coderch in the Records of the Modern Movement promoted by the Fundación Docomomo Ibérico.
In March 2021, she joined the Office of Architecture in Barcelona studio and now works on various housing projects, among others.

He finished his Qualifying Master in Architecture (MArqEtsaV) in 2020 with Mention.
Between 2016 and 2017 he continued his career as an international student at the Politecnico di Milano. As a student, he did an internship at the Sol89 studio, developing several single-family housing projects.
In 2021 he joined the Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) studio and since then he has collaborated in the rehabilitation of a multi-family building in Barcelona and the refurbishment of offices in Madrid, among other projects.
Graduated as an architect from Universidad de Buenos Aires (FADU | UBA) in 2018.
Since 2016, he has worked in two architecture studios in Buenos Aires, where he has developed projects for detached houses, housing blocks, executive offices, and industrial buildings. He has also taken part in competitions, including the one for the IUSE (University Security Institute) in Buenos Aires.
In 2018, he began working as a Teacher Assistant in Architecture 1 at Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseño y Urbanismo (FADU), correcting mid-scale projects and guiding students through the design process.
During the first months of 2019, he worked as an independent architect in the restyling of Hölters Natur Kindergarten, re-functioning spaces through furniture design.
In July 2019 he joined the Office of Architecture in Barcelona (OAB) studio, where he now works on the executive project of a mixed-use tower in Ecuador.
Degree in Architecture from the International University of Catalonia (UIC) in 2017. In 2018 she displayed her TFG in the RCR pavilion at the Venice Biennial.
As a student, she did internships in several offices (OAB, TDB Arquitectura and Flexo Arquitectura) and she does workshops always focused on digital modelling, design and creativity.
