The Gallery, located in Corsega Street 254 (60 meters from our main office), opened in 2008 due to the need to expand and to provide OAB with a separate physical space enabling it to accommodate cultural, academic, documentary and research issues to do with the professional structure of the studio. As an exhibition space it harbors the models of the projects undertaken by the studio, which are periodically loaned out for exhibition at different museums and institutions.
The OAB Gallery also turns into a vibrant venue for cultural events and temporary exhibitions that serve as a platform for the work of different artists. It is also a documentary resource linked to a publishing project, a place for spreading ideas in which lectures, seminars, workshops for professionals and university students from all over the world are held, and a center for theoretical investigation based on design praxis.

http://www.carmenpinart.com/Performance: CHOWROOM. RE_presentative Transference: 6 Accidents for a Substance
For a week the OAB Gallery hosted an installation, an object-exhibition, in short an artistic event which had as its (hidden) object RE_presentative transference; as its subject, a group of intelligent beings (speakers and table companions) that have RE_presentation in common; as a venue, a table (la tavola), the means by which one projects its RE_presentative transference; and as a formula, the journey, the only thing that, consciously, we all share. I chose the formula of the journey as being the most attractive part of our life, without doubt, and because I wanted to reproduce mental journeys that take off from the live accounts of great travellers.- Read more

‘SCRIPT’. Short film directed by Albert Ventura
Albert Ventura, presents his short film at the OAB Gallery. Sinopsi
Miike, Shin, Masa and Yuri participate in an experiment for 100 thousand yen. They have been asked to stay in a dark room for 10 minutes, where there is nothing else than a table with a lamp and 4 envelopes marked with their names. From the moment they will open the envelopes and this apparently absurd situation will turn into an increasing suspense story. After all, this experiment was probably not that simple.

ARQTOPSIA exhibition
Juan Antonio Rodríguez presented a selection of canvases in which he ‘dissects’ buildings that are representative of current architecture. The exhibition showed, from a different angle, the works realized by Juan Antonio Rodríguez for specialist architecture publications: axonometries on a pictorial support, stretched canvas, with new framings and a handling enabling one to contemplate a different vision of the known. -
