Multihousing building in the Olimpic Village of Banyoles

The project tries to explore a solution based on the theatricality of architecture, creating a different scenery from the one conceived originally.

Three typologies were created. The long corridor on the first floor presents itself as the center of gravity of the project, creating a viewing «balcony» over the urban scenery created.

As a counterpoint to the internal space, the rhythmical order of the street façades contribute to produce a sober urban effect.

The clear positioning of tension points, and its use as composition joints, contribute to tie together the complex.

A process of connections reveals the world of detail, where the use of materials defines the chromatic and plastic dialogue of the building.
